Description
The character of the province of Cádiz is shaped by seaside landscapes, unique vineyards and urban centers of great seigniorial elegance. This excursion is designed for those travelers who prefer to combine guided tours with free time, allowing them to explore the historic monuments and squares of Jerez de la Frontera completely independently and at their own pace.
We will depart by bus from Sevilla early in the morning to cross the Andalusian countryside. Our first stop will be Jerez de la Frontera, a town marked by its connection to flamenco and the aging of fine wines. The itinerary includes a guided visit inside a prestigious local winery, where we will learn firsthand about the influence of the soil and the wind on wine ripening, ending the experience with a tasting.
After the winery visit, the passengers on this option will enjoy free time in the center of Jerez. It is the ideal opportunity to stroll independently by the Almohad Alcázar, photograph the baroque façade of the Cathedral or sit and enjoy the local atmosphere in the squares of the old town while another part of the group attends the indoor venues.
Gathered again, we will continue the route toward the coast until we enter Cádiz, the "Tacita de Plata". Accompanied by our guide, we will walk through Plaza de San Juan de Dios, admire the exteriors of the Cathedral of Cádiz and delve into the traditional La Viña district. The afternoon will be completed with free time along the seafront promenade and La Caleta Beach before returning by bus to Sevilla.
